About Illinois Street Food Emporium

The Illinois Street Food Emporium is a woman-owned and operated bakery, deli and catering business that has been a neighborhood staple in the Butler Tarkington/ Meridian Kessler areas since 1979. We offer delicious food made in- house and fresh daily offering dine-in, carry -out, curbside and delivery services. All of our items are prepared with the finest provisions available sprinkled with love, served by our friendly staff.  Our dining room features art by local artists while the outdoor patio allows you to absorb the atmosphere of the bustling neighborhood while having breakfast, lunch or an early dinner. Or, perhaps just having a glass of wine or a pint of brew catching up with an old friend.   We feature display cases filled with a vast selection of house-made baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and other delectable sweet treats to tempt you. To add to the temptation, we offer a grab and go section of fresh and frozen ready-to-take home selections for dinner and entertaining. About Byrne's Grilled Pizza

Father Byrne's was a mentor and family friend. He spent his later years sharing Christ message to the Holy Cross and Immaculate Heart neighborhoods, to name a few. By serving a totally different pizza and using top quality ingredients, we give tribute to Father Jim Byrne. Enjoy!!!
